More than thirty years ago the Wiemann family succeeded in writing a unique success story with the founding of WIMEX. The idea was as simple as it was ingenious: The production and marketing of dismantled flat-pack furniture was in line with the modern zeitgeist and revolutionised the previously rigid furniture market in an innovative way. At WIMEX we are currently focusing on new markets such as online trade and are working intensively on optimising logistics, organisation, transport safety as well as the use of sustainable packaging.
The young furniture line “fresh to go” delivers high quality in an exclusive design at an exceptional price – and has stood for the best possible compatibility of everyday life, school, studies, and work for over ten years. Whether you're relaxing comfortably on your bed, expressing your creativity with individual room design, or diligently studying for your next exam at your desk, the versatile furniture ranges from “fresh to go” allow you to combine leisure and work in an ideal way.
Working directly with renowned designers and renowned interior architects, fresh to go creates functional bedroom furniture with an extravagant touch: robust metal fittings, brilliant high-gloss fronts, and atmospheric LED lighting ensure extraordinary and detailed room concepts.
The typical WIMEX quality of “fresh to go” is evident wherever it matters: with profiled shelves, soft door dampers, sturdy clothes rails, and height-adjustable frame brackets. Everything is manufactured by certified German production companies in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. And “fresh to go” thinks ahead: all surfaces of the bedroom furniture are so easy to care for and durable that you can clean them quickly and easily with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Becoming a quality leader for flat-pack furniture doesn't happen overnight: there are good reasons why retail partners and furniture customers trust our expertise.
Like our two production facilities in Heidenau and Themar, WIMEX is DIN EN ISO 9001 certified and operates according to a precisely defined quality management system. This enables us to ensure the highest quality at every stage of the production process, right through to the finished end product. Would you like some examples? We only use chipboard that complies with DIN EN 16516, quality class E05. The crystal mirrors are tested in accordance with DIN 1036. And only metal clothes rails and hinges are used in the cabinets.
